23.06.04 : the franklins played a gig in the warwick student's union on sunday supporting 3rd dan. two-fifths of the franklins played on monday at the student arts festival on the piazza stage, and are playing again this evening at the same venue...

06.06.04 : the next gig at the lounge has been confirmed for 14.06.04 with another appearance 7 days later on 21.06.04....

18.03.04 : the franklins have begun recording sample songs that will be gradually released on this website. the first of these is available now.

16.03.04 : the franklins have found a drummer! tim will be bringing his drum kit up in term 3 and the band will begin playing as a five piece. there are also plans to begin recording on the debut album.

15.03.04 : the franklins played the fourth of their regular appearances live @ the lounge tonight. the gig was a success as there was a large crowd despite being out of term time.
